About Us

After 40 years of traveling around the country looking for and poking around antique shops and flea markets everywhere we went, we came to the conclusion that with today's technology it would be great if someone would put together a large database of shops throughout the United States and make it available for those, like us, who would like to "map out" our vacations and trips, including the time we want to spend antiquing along the way.

Our goal is to have the most extensive listing of shops on the internet! Little did we realize how much work would be involved to achieve our goal! We have literally spent months to put together what you see today, and we're still not finished!

But we are making what we do have complete on our "dream" antique shop site available for you to use and enjoy, and will continue to add new shops until we have the most complete shop listing on the Web!

Not only is there already an extensive listing of shops in the US on this site, but we are also including national, regional, and state events that might be of interest as you map out your trips, as well as antique news that you might find interesting and beneficial.

We are building a database of "tips and tidbits" that encompass several areas that we believe you, as an antique collector, will find some or all most useful. We will continue to add new information and expand this database regularly and if you have anything to contribute, we would welcome you to contact us with your information.

In the near future, when we have made contact with each shop owner, you will be able to search the shops on the basis of their size (number of dealers and physical size of the shop), the general age categories of their merchandise, as well as the types of antiques and collectibles they handle and specialize in.

We'd love to have your comments about the site and invite you to contact us and tell us what you think. If there are things that you feel might add to the usefulness of this site, we'd like to hear about those things as well.

Our pledge to you is to provide up-to-date event information and news, add new tidbits on a regular basis, and keep our shop database as complete and the information as accurate as possible.
